Motec attends International Conference on UK-Ghana Health Links

A delegation of six members of Motec will be attending a conference in London on Wednesday the 21st of March 2007. The team comprises Mr Steve Townsend, Mr Jason Hewitt, Mr Raymond Ofori, Mrs Veronica Mac-Quarshie, Mr David Lewis and Mr Ofori-Atta.

Among other things, the team hope to demonstrate our commitment to the objectives of Motec in improving the standard of health care in some of the health institutions in Ghana. A slide presentation of some of the work Motec has undertaken at Koforidua will be one of the highlights of the conference.

It is also hoped that the meeting will offer Motec the opportunity to learn from "older" Health Groups linked to Health Institutions in Ghana. A ministerial (health) delegation from Ghana, the hierarchy of the Tropical Health and Education Trust (THET, Representatives of the International Organisation for Migration and the World Health Organisation (W.H.O.) are also attending the function.
